Kevin Grimstad

Kevin Grimstad

CTO and Co-Founder

Prior to joining Trace Engineering, Kevin served as the R&D Control Systems Engineer at Ophir Corporation and developed high-performance LiDAR embedded systems and computing engines operating in highly rugged DoD environments. Before Ophir Corporation he worked at Leonardo Technologies on main propulsion drive and radar control for nuclear submarines, surface combatant ships, and aircraft carriers. Kevin holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Tyson Lawrence

Tyson Lawrence

Principal Software Engineer

Prior to joining Trace Engineering, Tyson served as the Technical Lead Software Engineer at Quantinuum (Formerly Honeywell). There he helped lead the development of their HXT quantum computer and QC Control System. Prior to Quantinuum he worked at Ophir Corporation as the Lead Physics Software developer, implementing cutting edge AI/ML inference models running on highly customized embedded processing engines. Tyson holds a MS in Physics and a BS in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Arkansas.

Matthew Dannenfeldt

Matthew Dannenfeldt

CEO and Co-Founder

Matthew is also the founder and current President of Seedbox Solution, where he has led the development of reusable packaging innovation coupled with technology-driven solutions for the seed industry. Previously, he founded Rehrig Logistics and led the development of what is now the standard for packaging traceability within the grocery retail supply chain. Matthew holds a BSME from the University of Illinois – Urbana/Champaign.

Joe Waldman

Joe Waldman

General Manager

In addition to being the GM of Trace Engineering, Joe serves as the Director of Business and New Product Development at Seedbox Solution, managing the growth and strategy of their innovative packaging offerings. Prior to Seedbox Solution, he was the Category Manager for Engine/Vehicle Cooling at Navistar International (now Volkswagen Group) and a Product Manager at Milwaukee Tool. Joe holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
